A Level The criteria for entry to our Online Academy UK Global Sixth Form will be a minimum of five GCSE qualifications at grade 4 or above in English and Maths and grade 4 or above in at least three other GCSE subjects. The entry criteria apply equally to internal and external applications.

English language criteria

English is the language of instruction, engagement and assessment at our academy. We set this English level at B2 on the CEFR framework to reflect the level of proficiency required to engage effectively with our academic programme.

Students who are native speakers of English or who have been educated in a primarily English-speaking country for an extended period may be exempt from providing evidence of English language ability. We'd like students to demonstrate that their language level meets our recommended requirements for English proficiency on entry to the school in one of the following two ways:
